The Camino is a 7-day, 140-kilometer supported slack-pack walk scheduled to coincide with the annual Namaqualand wildflower season. The Camino walks will take you via an inland route to the coastal section of the Namaqua National Park. The three days spent along the coast are easy walks with ample time to enjoy the scenic, unspoiled Namaqualand coastline. This is a slackpack walk where you can bring your own tent or, if you prefer, hire a tent, stretcher, mattress, and the daily pitching thereof at extra cost. A comfortable camping chair is provided for each participant. Distances of the daily stages vary between 10 and 27 km, and we pitch camp at a different location every night except at Koringkorrelbaai where we stay for two nights. Please note: Although this walk is more leisurely, you will still have to prepare in advance to ensure you are walking fit.
